A man of many secrets and few words, little is known about Mateo’s upbringing, as it's something he doesn't talk about and would rather keep under lock and key. What is known about Mateo is that for a number of years after his high school graduation, he left the country to study abroad in Italy to become a priest. As luck would have it, upon returning back home, Mateo would then proceed to take over and continue on the teachings of a church, left behind by an old family friend.

He wears the facade of a benevolent priest, offering a hand and words of faith wherever it's needed. What lies beneath the surface, however, is anything but that.

Whether or not he actually believes in an all powerful deity or anything the Catholic church teaches is unknown, as he and his work are corrupt in nearly every sense of the word. It never will be known just how deep the corruption goes, but among the few things partaken in that the church would typically frown upon are things such as summonings, dark arts, exorcisms, and many more.

He does this all with one goal in mind — to build an all powerful pack centered around an even more powerful super church. A cult, of sorts. Through his feigned benevolence and kindness, he gathers a number of followers to give to him their undying loyalty.

— Personality-wise, Mateo is rather aloof and quiet, showing little to no expression, but that's not to say he can't take or make a joke every now and then.

— Most of his smiles, expressions, reactions are purely to uphold an image. In truth, he doesn't find it necessary to express emotion.

— His mysterious nature has a tendency to draw people to him, or make them wary of him, depending on the person.

— He's always willing to take it upon himself to lend a hand to just about anyone. Though, whether it's out of his own kindness or to gain something in return, it's hard to tell.

— During his time in Italy, he formed a number of mafia connections.

— He is half Korean, and half Italian.

— He has an identical twin brother, who happens to be the only person he truly trusts.
